Working Groups
          The Working Groups in AEGEE are a geographically distributed group of experts in a certain field. Below you have a short description of each group and for most of them a link to their homepage with more information. For contact addresses and board members please have a look at the AEGEE Address Book.

          Thematic Working Groups give input to the elaboration of AEGEE's positions and strategies on the respective fields. Please have a look at recent statements

          The Guidelines for Internal Working Format of Working Groups
          All Working Groups are required to have their Working Formats. Here you can find the Guidelines for the Internal Working Format prepared by the Comité Directeur. In case of any questions contact the Headoffice.

          The Working Group Reform
          Several structural reforms of the Working Groups have been passed by the Agora. Here you can view the final, ratified version of the Reform.



          The Education Working Group is the meeting point for students who are interested in European integration in the field of Higher Education and who would like to contribute to its development. [more info]


          The Cultural Working Group aims to enhance the knowledge, understanding and respect of the wide variety of cultures in Europe. It hopes to act for a natural development of cultural and artistic diversity and wants to help in the conceptualization of a common peace culture for humanity. [more info].


          The International Politics Working Group provides a forum for students interested in international politics and offers a chance to get in contact with other students from all over Europe sharing this dedication. It organises several events related to international politics and support the activities of AEGEE-Europe in this field. [more info]


          The Human Rights Working Group represents the conscience of AEGEE and brings human rights violations into public notice. Its topics of activties cover Balkan matters, visa issues, immigration, crimes against humanity and more. [more info]


          The East-West Working Group aims at informing AEGEE and the outside world on East-West relations and related topics and supporting the development of the AEGEE-network in Central and Eastern Europe and stimulating the integration of Western and Eastern antenna within the AEGEE-network.           The AEGEE Academy aims at enabling and supporting long-term successful internal education in co-operation with the Internal Education Responsible of the CD. It is focussed on the development of the Human Resources of AEGEE, through the organising of Internal Education events and running of a database with Internal Education material. [more info]


          The PR Working Group supports the work of the CD in the field of PR. It also strives to find and decelop innovative communication tehnolgies to mainatin, and improve the image and visibily of the association to the internal and external. [more info]


          The IT Working Group is a supportive working group of AEGEE-Europe. It deals with all kinds of IT related topics within AEGEE. It is a group of AEGEE-members, who have expertises in different fields of Information Technology. Divided into different taskforces, they manage the IT infrastructure of AEGEE-Europe, and do other kinds of IT related activities, such as Internal Education. [more info]


          The Visa Freedom Fighters strive for the abolition of visas in Europe and aim at removing all borders to persons' mobility on our continent. They regularly publish an on-line booklet on visa regulations, and make it easier for AEGEE members to receive their visa. [more info]


          The Bobigosa Working Group is a thematical virtual square were people with common ideals meet for creating new and useful proposals, and spread their own visions of what AEGEE should be but it is not. Irony and sarcasm are used as main tools.


          The Dance Working Group isn't just for fun anymore.We believe knowing and accepting the values and traditions of others, and to be in touch with our own roots is important in forging a truly unified Europe.
